How do we serve and encourage such children to attend school?

- Hostel establishment
- Food provision
- Establish new school in Lukwambe.

In early April 2011 Ngerengere Organization in assistance with a volunteer we conducted a census for identifying a number of children between 0 and 13yrs in Lukwambe sub village in Bwawani village in Pwani region.
We counted about 111.
Following the census, we made a number of awareness campaigns to emphasize, encourage and push parents to send children to school….
To date, about ten children are attending  school! Have a look of a  photo showing three children (motivated and sensitized) on the way back to Lukwambe  17km away from the school. 
For a children between 5 and 10yrs to walk such distance (17km x 2) needs some courage and desire!!
Let join hands --- help children along Ngerengere River mainly in Lukwambe sub village.
