Update on Scotty, our African Hawk Eagle print storySeptember 12, 2012 Daktari Bush School and Wildlife Orphanage, South Africa
Today Scotty, our African Hawk Eagle, got her bandage removed. She is still getting used to using her left wing again but appears to be quite happy with her new freedom. The two volunteers taking care of her are sitting in her enclosure when they feed her to get her used to them. Normally she should then be comfortable with these 2 people going in there and disinfecting her wound etc. Let's hope it works and that she will start using her left wing shortly ;) Comments |
