Update on our caracal Zulu print story

October 05, 2012

Daktari Bush School and Wildlife Orphanage, South Africa

2 months ago Zulu was send to be rehabbed. Last weekend this dream came true ☺
He was a little nervous at first, and hid amongst some underbrush for a couple of hours. During that time he had lots of visitors - giraffe, zebra and Egyptian geese who came to drink and swim at the dam. They went to check on him a couple of hours later and he had climbed a tree and was looking quite chuffed with himself! Later at about sunset he was dozing in the same tree. They went back the next morning, but he had already left.

Good luck Zulu! Enjoy your new life as a "wild" cat! :)
