During his recent visit to Delhi Bryan Adams set aside some of his valuable time to share some very special moments with 16 IIMPACT girls from his supported centres, along with their teachers and members of the IIMP...ACT team. These young girls traveled all the way to the capital from remote villages in Rajasthan, visiting a large metro for the very first time in order meet with the singer.Bryan personally met and interacted with each of the girls. It is a great honor to share this important, historical news with you: The members of the Huacas Association voted yesterday at 8pm in favor of donating a piece of land of 1000 m2 in Huacas (behind the public school) to the organization CEPIA!!!  “My family wanted to leave Onura and move to Juba town due to the poor economic situation and lack of employment, but now that we have a source of income through beekeeping we are not leaving.”The results are just terrific – the Onura beekeeping programs are running very well under the guidance of Village’s local woman Manager, and her team at Onura women beekeeping Association. Women’s businesses are growing steadily larger and the local economy is also expanding noticeably in the surrounding villages where OWBA operates.  The beekeeping project will provide local women with the opportunity to learn a sustainable agricultural skill and earn an income to support their families.
