Study Abroad in Morocco 2010print storyJuly 14, 2012 Moroccan Center for Arabic Studies Morocco
I am a professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In the spring of 2010, Ali Ben Sebaa acted as onsite coordinator for a study abroad group tour that I led to Morocco. We spent two weeks in a house in the old city, or medina, that Mr. Ben Sebaa arranged for us to rent. He also arranged for us to teach English at a college, or middle school, within the old city walls. In addition, Mr. Ben Sebaa provided advice and assistance with transportation within the city. He was very dependable, reliable, and easy to work with. He has lived in the US and Rabat is his home, and so he is ideally prepared to work with study groups in that city. I have lived and traveled in Morocco and know the country very well, but Mr. Sebaa's assistance in Rabat was invaluable.
