To make daily, nutritious meals available at our Community Soup Kitchen
The Community Soup Kitchen' s first and foremost objective is to provide refugees with low-cost and nutritious meals while educating them about healthy eating and living. Every day 35-50 members of our community receive a nutritious meal for a nominal fee of 15 rupees; for those who cannot afford to pay, the meal is provided free of charge. The kitchen also serves as a space where refugees who are interested in working in the restaurant and service industry may receive formal training. This vocational training helps refugees get jobs either in India or abroad. The dining room also acts as a space for events such as educational workshops.
