Nurture Merit Program: Supporting poor meritorious students to continue their college education through fianancial assistance, and regular training and mentoring support. Identification of students is based on poverty and merit. Economic status of the student's family is verified by individual house visits. Support will be from post tenth class education until their graduation leading to employment.Mission Thalassemia: Supporting children suffering with Thalassemia for their treatment and cure. We are presently supporting 66 children with Thalassemia undergoing treatment in Madurai Government Hospital. We provide free medicines, counselling services, supportive care facilities, and support for their education, etc. We are also taking various initiatives for awareness creation and knowledge sharing about Thalassemia among general public. We are presently working on establishing a Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in Madurai for the cure of Thalassemia.Chavadi- Noon meal for the uncared aged: Noon meal for uncared aged programme of Nivethan aims to serve the aged who are deprived, deserted by families and who are unable to take care of themselves. 10 old aged are fed every day by Nivethan. We do support them for their health and clothes.Students learning centre: We run students learning centre in slum areas and Government schools in Madurai where we provide free computer education, provide library facilities and training for the school going students from poor families. At present we run two such centres in Madurai.
