My First Gallery | Investigación social juvenil (Youth Social Research) Deivid Rojas, Andres Freire The youth of Taller de Paz investigate several social issues including homelessness, drug use, policing policies, and the social services which are supposed to mitigate those problems. They begin by talking to a local official about her definition of community and how she approached different marginalized members of that community. Their questions are on-point and investigative. How do you define community? How are certain people kept out? | Peace Talks 1 Alex Frye In this first of two videos exchanged with Project Next Generation in Kankakee, Il., the Taller de Paz groups introduce themselves and ask the youth of Kankakee about their likes, dislikes, knowledge of Colombia, and definitions of community. | Peace Talks 2 Alex Frye In this second of two videos, the youth of Taller de Paz discuss some of the major issues that affect the neighborhood, the country, and the world. They ask and respond to questions about who should help whom and why. This video was exchanged with Project Next Generation in Kankakee, Il., who likewise answered these questions and shared their thoughts with the TdP. | Belonging: A TdP Interview Jovanna Hernandez Workshop facilitator, Jovanna Hernandez, interviews several youth from Taller de Paz about their experiences with the program and their aspirations for the future. | My First Gallery
