South American Explorers is a non-profit organization that provides resources and services to independent travelers in South America. SAE’s mission is to improve the social, economic and environmental conditions within South America by fostering greater awareness of this continent through the diffusion of information and cross cultural interaction. We are a club for those who want to plan their own trips, make their own decisions, book their own passage, and stay and move on when the spirit moves them. We offer clubhouses with luggage storage facilities, libraries, up-to-date, well-researched information, English-language events and much more in Buenos Aires, Quito, Lima, and Cuzco, in addition to a wealth of resources online.
