The Traveling Librarian (www.travelinglibrarian.org) works to assist rural communities around the world establish their own libraries. The goal is to promote reading and literacy in multiple languages. To learn more, contact us or Tamara Blesh at tblesh@maine.edu.
Partnership History
The Traveling Librarian has been an Omprakash partner since April, 2008. Omprakash happily receives donations on behalf of the Traveling Librarian.
-In August, 2008, Omprakash transfered $500 to the Traveling Librarian to buy new books for several schools in Ladakh.
