Volunteer assistance is critical to enabling our international partners to create change in their communities. Many of them have shared the work they were able to accomplish with the help of international volunteers. Read their stories below.
Multiferia print storyOctober 30, 2012 Proyecto Horizonte, Bolivia
The school of San Vicente de Paúl in Uspha-Uspha was celebrating Multiferia this month. In the Multiferia every school subject was presented by the students of the school. The purpose of the day was to make the students more aware about different subjects and increase their enthusiasm about school work. Community development projects and health clinic of Proyecto Horizonte had also stands and it was easy for people to find information about them and ask questions. Women’s group Tantakuna was there also presenting their work and selling them. The day was important and fun for all the students of the school but at the same time it was an event for the whole community!
