It has been a long while and I am happy the blog is back! Well, a lot has happened since our last interaction. Most of the boys we started with at the juvenile prison have returned home and are going back to school. We have also started a reading club in one school and the sky is the limit. As usual we welcome you to come and help impact on the lives of these amazing children.

Pillar of Hope, Kenya

The Pillar of Hope has been a part of a positive initiative conducted in conjunction with an interest group in the community of Ugenya. the initiative was to help destitute children to register for their national examinations. The targeted number was 100 though the number rose above the target and with the ongoing process, we are yet to know the number of children we reached. we are glad to have been a part of this initiative and we know that by the end of the day, we have impactedon the education and future of a child somewhere.may God bless the children.

Testmonies of TfT kids

  Testimonies from the Today for Tomorrow Project    There names are Phiona and Shamimu, Phiona is primary four and Shamimu in primary two, they all stay at Childline Uganda -Child Rescue Centre supported by AROM-Abaana –Ba Uganda,  they are all HIV positive and are on ARVS. AROM/Abaana has supported these children in education, medical care, feeding and shelter while staying at the centre.Phiona” my mother died when I was 5 years old, I did not see my father, I only know one person on my relatives,  that is my cousin brother. But I thank God that I got a new family, friends at the Child Rescue centre.  They are there for me! Am so happy for the support from USA people most especially Debbie, I will love too see her...

 We take this opportunity to present to you some of the stories and testimonies of  Children under the "Today for Tomorrow Project"  His name is Samuel, 11 years and in primary six, he goes to St Mary’s Primary School in Mityana District. He has no father or mother, he was born with HIV after three month the mother died, meaning he did not get chance to see either of his parents. He has been under care of his grand mother since the age of three months to-date. He is on ARV-HIV medicines,My daily work schedule; “At home I help my grand mother with sweeping the compound, collecting banana peels from different homes for my grand mother’s cow such that it produces more milk”.What do I want most” I love rearing animals...

 The Child Rescue Programe Redisigned to host Jevuniles for rehabilitation. there are supported with counseling, life skills and many more other care and support for change!....................... we are happy to be hosted by Trio Primary/orphange, that                  we consder to be our Child Rescue Centre. all childern abused, from child headed families, parentless and referred to Childline Uganda are taken to this centre. normally we recieve referrals of these children from the Probation officer, Community Development Officers from different counties, local leaders, and partners in mityana district. we thank AROM (Abaana Rural Outreach Ministries for the support torwards the Child Rescue Centre with education/fees, feeding, beddings and many more for the rescued kids that range from HIV positive, Orphans, Jevuniles and many more.§  About...
