Combat Malnutrition with Beekeeping in South Sudan

 “My family wanted to leave Onura and move to Juba town due to the poor economic situation and lack of employment, but now that we have a source of income through beekeeping we are not leaving.”The results are just terrific – the Onura beekeeping programs are running very well under the guidance of Village’s local woman Manager, and her team at Onura women beekeeping Association. Women’s businesses are growing steadily larger and the local economy is also expanding noticeably in the surrounding villages where OWBA operates.  The beekeeping project will provide local women with the opportunity to learn a sustainable agricultural skill and earn an income to support their families. Have you ever looked at the pictures of starving school children and felt powerless to help?  On 08- Feb - 2011 president Omer al-Bashir, issued a republican decree accepting the final results of referendum, which supports the separation of the South into an independent state. It’s really pathetic   and horrific.Actually, the world does not need these catastrophes’ at moment be them naturals or man-made. A Call for a Speech and Language Development   professionals to Volunteers   to share his/her knowledge and skills by getting involve with the Cameroon Inclusive Special Education Teachers’ Training Project/Programme (CISETTP) at Bamenda- Cameroon.   The language in use is English though knowledge of or the ability to speak the French language would be of tremendous help in communicating with diverse clients -whose second language is not English but French. North and South Sudan are presently engaged in talks to resolve the sensitive issues, which includes sharing of oil revenues, demarcation of boarders, and the contested oil-rich Abyei region.Women are at high risk for HIV and other sexually transmitted Diseases due to cultural beliefs. Update... 1 week working (laundry project)

On Tuesday the 8th, less than one week ago, we have begun the reconstruction and renovation .As you can see from these photos the condition of parts of the house is very bad, in various states of disrepair and in need of renovation, especially the kitchen and the bathroom. In these new photos you can see that to start to repair the bathroom we have removed the old tiles and plaster in order to repair the electrical cables and water works. According the budget tasks, we are doing the following:Reconstruction and renovation:Bathroom: ·          Remove ceramic ·          Remove the plaster that is loose to the brick ·          Revoke the walls, (hacer contra piso y carpeta) ·          Make plumbing (hot and cold water) pipe installation with heat fusion first line....
