Now answer the following questions:
1. What are the main issues these organizations confront? Who suffers the most from these issues?
2. Have these issues always been a problem, or are they getting more serious? Why or why not?
3. What seems like the most effective way to address the core issues mentioned in #1?
4. Why do we need water, anyway?

Get ready to do some research! Try to answer the following questions-- you might need to ask your parents, your friends, or the Internet!
1. Where does your water come from? Who pays for it? Who sells it?
2. How much water do you use per day? What are the most high-consumption uses? This National Geographic water use calculator might be helpful!
3. On a national level, what are the biggest uses of water? (For example: washing your car, watering your lawn, brushing your teeth, growing the corn that feeds your cheeseburger-to-be...etc.)
4. Does everyone in your home town have equal access to water? What about everyone in the world?
Create
Make a plan for addressing some of the issues mentioned above. What steps can you take to reduce your own water consumption? What can you do to help others gain better access to water?
