            This includes taking risks, following your dreams and most importantly following your heart. I’ve realized that much of what I want for these kids, I’ve only thought about for myself. How can I ask of them something I don’t ask of myself? It’s easy to say these things, but if you really think about it, how many of you have actually taken a risk recently? I think we become content in the safe zones that are our lives and we forget to follow our dreams in fear that we will fail.              After my first post, I was suppose to begin a new project in a different area of India. However, after a lot of chaos and disorganization by the area coordinator, I have landed back at Prakash Deep school in Faridabad where I had completed my Photopals project. While there was a time where I felt like returning home early because of the chaos, I decided it would benefit me as well as the students if I was able to return to Prakash Deep. Overwhelming.

 I've recently completed a project with a slum school in Faridabad called Prakashdeep. Here I taught the students English as well as Photography. Each day the students had a different assignment with the camera including ones such as light, action, still photos, etc. I couldn't believe the happiness that came with being able to take pictures. I was constantly overwhelmed by the amount of photos the students took, but each one was taken with such care and focus. Many of the students could speak English fairly well, but for those who could not, I learned to teach with my hands.
