A little about me: I spent most of my pre-university extracurricular years doing theatre: acting, directing, lighting, building sets, teaching. Before starting university I spent a year travelling across Canada volunteering in different communities with Katimavik, a service-learning program sponsored by the Canadian government.
In university, I studied Biology and Philosophy and since then have been making my way into natural history storytelling through film, photography and writing. I'm excited to share any and all skills with anyone who will listen!
Skills
I have taught various ages (children and adults) and subjects as a tutor, camp counsellor, and wilderness guide, and always feel it hugely rewarding when a student masters a skill or concept.
Videography and documentary are fields I've started working in in the past year and a half, and am eager to share this newly expanding skillset. (See video below)
