While in Peruprint story

Expand Peru Peru
Jon Leposky

This is my first blog, and it is durring my stay in Peru. I am only going to talk about certain things now because I am keeping my full blog offline until I get back and I can have the appropriate time to edit.

I am currently in Peru with Chiara, Alex, and Vance. We have thus far hit two of the organizations we plan to cover during our stay. So far the trip has been a lot of fun and for me personally has gone pretty well. I know as a group there has been some minor issues but nothing important. I find more humor out of them than dispair so don't worry.

Right now we are covering Pisco Sin Fronteras and are almost finished. We have captured some pretty harsh things during our stay and I know that I am very eager to get back to start the second phase of our project. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to leave and am having a great time but seeing what is here gets me thinking about what I can do to help once I return.

We have gotten some breaks while in Pisco and I am enjoying them greatly. I think today is just some last minute tidy up stuff we need to get done before we go to Cuzco.

One of the things we are doing that I think is cool that Vance suggested is giving a Bible to Caesar. Caesar's house came down during the earthquake like many others. We did an interview of him and discovered that he had a strong faith in God but when Vance tried to give him an encouraging bible verse he said that he lost his Bible in the earth quake.

Yesterday I got to help out a little at a project by Pisco Sin Fronteras called Super Fun Town. Basically it was just wheelbarrowing liquid cement to the construction site. It felt better than standing around (I had finished most of my shots and Alex was doing some interviews).

We went to a lot of different places yesterday so most of our Camera work is done. So like I said before, not much stuff is going on today.

Anyway, this is just a random blog with selective information. I have stuff written down for the past days so I post that when I get home.
